Generation Growth Capital Fund III, LP (“GGC”), a Milwaukee-based private equity firm that invests in lower middle market companies, and Harrell’s Car Wash Systems, Inc. (“Harrell’s”), one of the nation’s largest full-service distributors of car wash systems and supplies, today announced the acquisition of Mid-Atlantic Car Wash Technologies, Inc. (d/b/a Washtech). Senior financing was provided by Bell Capital Finance and mezzanine financing was provided by Exmarq Capital Partners and Medallion Capital.

Walmart.com and Lord & Taylor today announced that the companies will begin to roll out the new Lord & Taylor flagship store on Walmart.com in the coming weeks. The flagship, which will debut with more than 125 brands, including Tommy Bahama, Vince Camuto, Miss Selfridge, La La Anthony, Lucky Brand, H Halston and Effy, will be part of Walmart.com’s broader fashion destination.

Charlotte Bilingual Preschool received Apparo’s Mission Possible Economic Opportunity Grant and Carol Hardison was inducted into the organization’s Hall of Fame Saturday, May 12th at the 12th Annual ConnectivIT Ball. The event raised more than $970,000 for support local nonprofits.
