Child Care Resources Inc., a nonprofit that works to ensure all children have access to early childhood education opportunities, will host its annual ‘Little Wonders’ fundraising gala May 18 at the Ritz Carlton in uptown Charlotte.

Little Wonders is Child Care Resources’ annual benefit to support its work on behalf of young children and those who care for and educate them. The theme for this year’s event is “Locally Grown” in honor of the organization’s ongoing efforts to nurture the seeds of early learning and provide the resources children and families need to survive and thrive.

“We are dedicated to empowering Charlotte children and families through early education,” said Janet Singerman, President of Child Care Resources. “We are thankful for the generosity and support from the community and local companies who understand that early education affects us all.”
Event highlights will include a flavorful celebration of farm-to-table cuisine prepared by a local chef, microbrews from the region’s most popular breweries, craft cocktails designed by a master mixologist, live music, and an auction to benefit Child Care Resources Inc.

“The Little Wonders gala is a party with a purpose,” Singerman said. “This is an opportunity for the community to come out, have some fun and learn more about our organization and the work we do.”

Little Wonders is presented by lead sponsor Wells Fargo and sponsors to date include: Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Bank of America, Childress Klein, Duke Energy, Moore & Van Allen, PNC Bank, AC&M Group, Cherry Bekaert, Driven Brands Charitable Foundation, Kaplan Early Learning Company, Lowry & Associates, National Gypsum Company, OrthoCarolina, and Perry’s Fine, Antique & Estate Jewelry.
