Pride Magazine, QCityMetro.com and The Charlotte Post announce Groundbreaking Social Venture

Charlotte, NC — Pride Magazine, QCityMetro.com and The Charlotte Post today announced their groundbreaking partnership and formation of the Consolidated Media Alliance, a social venture focused on building social capital within the Charlotte region. For the first time, Charlotte’s three most respected African American news outlets are harnessing the power of their platforms to work collectively to create change and identify solutions to address social and cultural issues.

With the support of the community, corporations, nonprofits and foundations, the Consolidated Media Alliance will focus on delivering programming and initiatives to help tackle tough problems impacting communities of color.

• The Charlotte Post Newspaper is a trusted media resource that has served as a dominant force in educating, empowering and enlightening African-American communities since 1878. Published weekly by The Charlotte Post Publishing Company, combined 12 county distribution area covers North Carolina and upstate South Carolina.
