Charlotte Amateur Tennis Tournament hosts Media Day July 30

The Charlotte Amateur Tennis Championship will host a special media day event Tuesday, July 30 to unveil the tournament’s official schedule of events. The event is open to local and regional media outlets, tournament sponsors, elected officials and community members.

The inaugural tournament will hit the Queen City August 16 – 18 at the Queens University Tennis Complex at Marion Diehl Recreation Center and the Jeff Adams Tennis Center and will benefit the Cynthia Graham Hurd Foundation. All levels of play are welcome.

What: The Charlotte Amateur Tennis Tournament is hosting its official media day event to provide an overview of the tournament’s upcoming events schedule. The event will feature Tournament Director Malcolm Graham and tennis players in action on the courts, as well as remarks from tournament officials, sponsors and elected officials.

The mission of the Charlotte Amateur Tennis Championship is to expose the local community to the sport of tennis through a community-focused tournament open to players of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. The Charlotte Amateur Tennis Tournament is presented by Atrium Health and is sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
